Shree Charani’s Accuracy Strengthens India’s Women’s Spin Attack

India’s women’s cricket team won the Asian Games gold medal.

Much attention went to batters Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana.

Young spinner Shree Charani also made an important contribution.

She bowls mostly toward the stumps, making it difficult for batters to score.

Charani practices by bowling 30 to 40 extra balls after training.

Since the Women’s Asia Cup, she has taken 20 wickets in eight appearances.

Her economy rate in those matches was 3.32.

She may face tougher opponents such as Australia, England and South Africa in the future.
