Pune Plans Waste Plant to Tackle Textile and Furniture Waste
Pune's city government is building a special plant to deal with old clothes, furniture, and renovation waste.
Currently, this waste is causing problems like blocked drains and is piling up in open areas.
The new plant, costing millions, will sort and process this waste in different ways.
Some waste will be made into things like doormats, and other parts will be turned into fuel for factories.
This is part of Pune's plan to become an even cleaner city.
Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) plans a new waste processing plant.
The plant addresses textile and furniture waste disposal issues in Pune.
The project's cost is Rs 13.03 crore, with Rs 66.08 crore for operations.
