Durov Funds IVF, Promises Inheritance

Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram, is offering to pay for IVF treatments for women who want to use his sperm to have a baby.

He has already helped many women this way and has promised that all his biological children will get a share of his huge fortune when he passes away.

He started donating his sperm in 2010 to help a friend and continues to do so because he believes it's important to help with the problem of low sperm quality and declining birth rates.

His sperm is stored in a clinic in Moscow, and only unmarried women under 37 years old can use it.

He thinks of all his children equally and wants to encourage other healthy men to donate sperm too.

Durov mentioned on a podcast that any child who can establish a genetic link to him would be eligible for inheritance, though access would only be granted decades after his death.
