Six IPOs Make Varied Debuts, Led by LCC Projects
Six companies put their shares on stock exchanges on Thursday, 17 September.
Investors could buy shares in these companies through IPOs before trading began.
LCC Projects had the biggest opening gain, rising more than 29% on the NSE.
Karamtara Engineering, Rentomojo and Steamhouse India also started above their IPO prices.
Arcil began at exactly the same price at which its shares were sold.
Manipal Payment & Identity Solutions started slightly below its IPO price.
The IPOs received different levels of investor demand before listing.
Rentomojo was subscribed the most, while Manipal Payment was subscribed only 1.42 times.
LCC Projects opened up 29.45% on the NSE and 31.44% on the BSE, the strongest debut among the six IPOs.
Karamtara Engineering, Rentomojo and Steamhouse India also opened above their issue prices.
Asset Reconstruction Company (India), or Arcil, debuted flat at ₹139 on both exchanges.
Manipal Payment & Identity Solutions opened below its issue price, falling 2.65% on the NSE and 2.06% on the BSE.
Subscription levels ranged from 1.42 times for Manipal Payment to 72.88 times for Rentomojo.
