ISRO Opens Applications for 93 Scientist/Engineer Posts, Deadline August 17
ISRO, the Indian space agency, wants to hire new scientists and engineers.
It has opened applications for 93 jobs.
These jobs are in subjects like electronics, mechanical and computer science.
To apply, people need an engineering degree.
They also need a good score in an exam called GATE.
ISRO will check that the score is real.
People apply online on the ISRO website before August 17, 2026.
The best applicants will be called for an interview.
The GATE score and the interview each count for half the marks.
If selected, they will work at ISRO centres in different Indian cities.
ISRO has opened online applications for 93 Scientist/Engineer 'SC' vacancies across disciplines including Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, Civil and Electrical.
The application deadline is August 17, 2026, and forms must be submitted online at isro.gov.in or through the National Career Service (NCS) portal.
Candidates need an engineering qualification in the relevant discipline and a valid GATE 2025 or GATE 2026 score, which ISRO will verify.
Shortlisting for interview is based on GATE score at a 1:7 ratio, and final selection for Electronics, Mechanical and Computer Science combines 50% GATE score with 50% interview performance.
Shortlisted candidates are eligible for second-class sleeper train fare reimbursement to the interview venue, and unreserved category candidates need an overall minimum of 60%.
