South Korea fires warning shots as North soldiers cross border

There are two countries called South Korea and North Korea.

They are next to each other, with a special line between them called the military demarcation line.

Some North Korean soldiers walked across that line by accident.

South Korean soldiers fired warning shots into the air to let them know they went too far.

The North Korean soldiers went back to their own side.

Nobody was hurt, and everything returned to normal afterward.

This was the first time it happened this year.

Last year, North Korean soldiers crossed the line 17 times.

The soldiers were probably just doing patrols when they crossed.

The two countries are still careful around each other because their old war never officially ended.
