Alibaba Launches Qwen AI-Powered Quark Glasses
Alibaba, a big company from China, has made new smart glasses called Quark.
These glasses use a smart computer brain named Qwen to help people with everyday tasks.
You can talk to the glasses by saying 'Hello Qwen' or use touch controls.
They can do things like tell you the price of something, translate languages, help you find your way, and even take notes during meetings.
The glasses work with other Alibaba services like shopping, maps, and music.
They come in two types: a more expensive one called S1 and a simpler one called G1.
The S1 glasses have a special screen and can take pictures and videos.
They also have a long battery life.
Alibaba wants other developers to make new things for these glasses too.
Alibaba launched Quark AI glasses in China, powered by the Qwen AI model.
The glasses offer hands-free assistance with features like price recognition, translation, navigation, and meeting notes.
Quark glasses are integrated with Alibaba's ecosystem, including Alipay, Taobao, and music streaming platforms.
The glasses come in two variants: the S1 model priced at ¥3,799 ($537) and a G1 model.
The S1 model features a Snapdragon AR1 processor, dual micro OLED display, and can record 3K video with AI enhancement to 4K.
