Green Visakhapatnam Flags Environmental Risks from Vizag Data Centre

A group called Green Visakhapatnam wants to protect nature in the Indian city of Visakhapatnam.

They are worried about a big new building project called the Vizag Hyperscale Data Centre.

A data centre is a huge building full of computers that helps power things like artificial intelligence.

The group says the project might break environmental rules and hurt people's health.

They say the government gave land to big companies called Google and Adani without checking the environment first.

The group worries the project could damage hills and use up water that people need for drinking.

They are also concerned about too much electricity use and loud noise from generators.

Green Visakhapatnam is holding a rally on the beach on August 9 to ask people to say no to the project.

They want everyone to think about the dangers before it is built.
