Goa Man Uses ChatGPT to Find Footwear Outside Ujjain Temple
A man from Goa went to visit a big, busy temple in a city called Ujjain in India.
People who visit the temple must take off their shoes and leave them outside with many other shoes.
When the man came out, he could not find his own pair of clogs among all the footwear.
So he decided to ask a smart computer program called ChatGPT for help.
He took pictures of all the rows of shoes with his phone.
He also took a picture of what his own clogs looked like.
He showed the pictures to ChatGPT, which is very good at looking at images.
The computer studied the photos and pointed him to the exact spot where his shoes were.
He made a video of this adventure and posted it on Instagram, where people found it funny and clever.
The story shows that artificial intelligence can help with ordinary, everyday problems too.
Shubhang Borkar, a Goa-based cybersecurity professional, used ChatGPT to find his lost clogs outside the Mahakal Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.
He uploaded photographs of the shoe racks and a separate reference image of his clogs, asking the chatbot to scan the footwear and identify his pair.
ChatGPT analysed images of different sections of the crowded racks and eventually directed Borkar towards a specific pair.
Borkar shared a video titled 'Used ChatGPT to find my lost clogs' on Instagram four days ago.
In the video, he described himself as a 'hacker on weekdays (cybersec), explorer on weekends.'
