Tollywood Postponement Reports Threaten Momentum of Telugu Film Releases
Telugu movies have recently been doing well at the box office.
Many movie fans enjoyed films released in July and August.
Now, reports about upcoming movies being delayed are creating uncertainty.
Nagarjuna said filmmakers should announce dates only when they can finish the work on time.
He pointed to The Odyssey as an example of a film planned well in advance.
Nagarjuna also said his own film Lenin was delayed because its post-production was unfinished.
Several Telugu films, including AK47, The Paradise, Fauzi, and Vishwambhara, may face release problems.
Naga Vamsi has said AK47 will release on October 2, but it is not yet clear whether it will be ready.
A delay could force other films to change their planned 2027 Sankranthi releases.
