Karnataka Challenges TDR Order, Case Referred to CJI for Larger Bench
Karnataka and the royal family are in a court dispute over land near Bangalore Palace.
The court originally ordered Karnataka to give the royal family special certificates worth over ₹3,000 crore.
Karnataka is fighting this, saying the rules for these certificates shouldn't apply to land taken long ago.
The government also thinks the certificates are worth too much money.
Now, the Supreme Court is deciding if a bigger group of judges should look at the case again.
