Bengal BJP Chief Warns Workers Against Corruption, Promises Action

The BJP’s West Bengal leader warned party members not to take part in corruption, extortion or other improper activities.

He said the warning applies to everyone, from local booth workers to state-level leaders.

He told members to be honest, transparent and guided by the party’s principles.

The party said it would not accept responsibility for members who break those principles.

People accused of wrongdoing could face organisational and legal action if the allegations are supported by evidence.

The warning came after complaints about irregularities and allegations of extortion in the BJP’s name.

The leader had already given some accused people 15 days to change their behaviour.

The party says public service and maintaining people’s trust must remain its main goals.
