PM Modi Inaugurates New Kolkata Metro Lines
Get ready, Kolkata!
Prime Minister Modi launched three new metro lines on August 22.
These new lines will make getting around the city much faster!
The Green Line will speed you from Howrah to Sealdah.
The Yellow Line will quickly take you to the airport, and the Orange Line will link important places.
This means less time traveling and better connections for everyone.
The total cost of this project is around Rs 1,866 crore.
PM Modi inaugurated three new Kolkata Metro sections on August 22.
The new sections include Esplanade-Sealdah, Noapara-Jai Hind Airport, and Hemanta Mukhopadhyay-Beleghata.
The Sealdah-Esplanade line will cut travel time between the two points from nearly 40 to 11 minutes.
The Noapara-Jai Hind Bimanbandar line will improve airport access.
The project cost is approximately Rs 1,866 crore.
