Srisailam Temple Updates Darshan Ticketing for Shravanam Month
The Srisailam temple in Andhra Pradesh is changing how people get tickets for special visits during the Shravanam month, which runs from August 13 to September 12.
On 19 busy days, some rituals will be paused and the main visit slot will be only at 8:30 PM with a limit of 250 tickets.
On other days, the usual three‑time schedule will stay the same.
Most tickets (80%) will be sold through a WhatsApp group called ‘Mana Mitra’, and the rest (20%) through the temple’s website.
Pilgrims are told to book early online to avoid crowds and middlemen.
The changes are meant to keep everyone safe and make the experience smoother.

Peak days (19 designated days) suspend certain rituals and limit Sparsha Darshan to one 8:30 PM slot of 250 tickets.
Non‑peak days keep normal three‑slot schedule (7:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 9:00 PM) and regular seva ticket sales.
80 % of tickets sold via official ‘Mana Mitra’ WhatsApp; 20 % via Devasthanam web portal to curb middlemen.
