Vande Bharat Train Crosses World’s Highest Railway Bridge

Vande Bharat Train Crosses World’s Highest Railway Bridge

A Vande Bharat train recently traveled across the Chenab Rail Bridge in Jammu and Kashmir.

The bridge is extremely tall and stands above the Chenab River.

It is the world’s highest railway arch bridge.

The bridge is also taller than the Eiffel Tower.

It helps connect the Kashmir Valley with other parts of India by train.

The train service between Srinagar and Jammu lets passengers travel without changing trains at Katra.

In August, a Vande Bharat train crossed the bridge at nearly 100 kilometres per hour.

Many people have used the service since it began.
