Modi to Attend Bhupen Hazarika Birth Centenary in Assam
Prime Minister Modi will visit Assam on September 8 to start a year-long celebration for Bhupen Hazarika's 100th birthday.
He will attend a ceremony in Guwahati and also open some new projects, like a bio-ethanol plant and a new road and bridge.
They'll also launch a book about Bhupen Hazarika.

A biography of Dr. Hazarika will be launched at the event.
