Union Minister Launches First Cooperative Taxi Service, Bharat Taxi
Imagine a new taxi service called Bharat Taxi that is being started by a government ministry.
This service is a cooperative, meaning the drivers and maybe others involved will have a say in how it's run, like a team working together.
The plan is to test it out in Delhi and nearby areas next month.
If the test goes well, it will become available everywhere next year.
The people in charge have already decided on what the app and logo will look like.
This is India's first taxi service of this kind.
India's first cooperative taxi service, Bharat Taxi, is set to launch soon.
The initiative is led by Union Home Minister Amit Shah through the Ministry of Cooperation.
The mobile application and logo for Bharat Taxi have been finalized.
A pilot run is planned for Delhi-NCR next month.
