U.S. Strike on Eastern Pacific Vessel Kills Two

The U.S. military says it attacked a boat in the Eastern Pacific on Sunday.

It says two people were killed.

The military says the boat was being used to move illegal drugs.

It called the people killed “narco-terrorists.”

Officials did not say who the people were or which group they belonged to.

The attack is part of a series of strikes that the administration says target drug trafficking.

More than 200 people have reportedly been killed in these strikes.

Human rights groups and independent United Nations experts say the attacks may be unlawful killings without a trial.
