Mufti Asks Centre to Provide Medical Care for Jailed Separatist Shah
Mehbooba Mufti, a former leader, is asking the Indian government to help a sick, jailed man named Shabir Ahmad Shah get proper medical care.
Shah's daughter, Sehar, has also asked for her father to be treated with kindness, as he's very sick and needs surgery.
She said he has been in prison for a long time without being found guilty and hasn't been able to see his family or get his medical records.
She is asking for compassion and justice for her father so that he can get the care he needs.
Mehbooba Mufti appealed to the Centre to ensure medical care for jailed separatist leader Shabir Ahmad Shah.
Shah's daughter, Sehar Shabir, posted an emotional appeal for 'justice and compassion' for her father.
Sehar stated her father has spent 38 years in prison without conviction and is now gravely ill, needing multiple surgeries.
She said the family has been kept away, with no access to medical records or phone calls for two years.
