Maharashtra Drug Inspector Recruitment Halted Amid Paper Leak Probe
There is a big problem with a test for Drug Inspector jobs in Maharashtra.
Some people say the test questions were leaked before the exam, but the people in charge say they don't have any proof of this.
The police are now checking to see if the test was really leaked or if someone is just making false claims.
Because of this, the final list of people who got the jobs is on hold, and 488 people who were supposed to get the jobs are waiting to see what happens.
Allegations of a question paper leak in the Maharashtra Public Service Commission’s (MPSC) Drug Inspector recruitment examination have put the final recruitment on hold.
NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar alleged that the Drug Inspector paper had been leaked and demanded an immediate investigation.
The MPSC maintains that it has found no evidence that the original paper was leaked and has referred the matter to the police.
The recruitment is for 154 Group B gazetted Drug Inspector posts in the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The written examination was held on March 22, 2026, and results were declared on June 12, with 506 candidates qualifying for interviews.
