Telangana High Court Rejects TGSRTC Appeal, Cites Negligence
The Telangana High Court said no to an appeal from a state-owned bus company, TGSRTC.
The company was trying to fight a decision where they had to pay money to someone hurt in an accident.
But the court said the company waited way too long to file their appeal and didn't have a good reason why.
The court said the company was slow, didn't seem honest, and should have acted better.
Because of these issues, the court sided with the accident victim and said the company still had to pay.
Telangana High Court dismissed an appeal by TGSRTC.
The appeal concerned a Motor Accident Claims Tribunal award.
The court cited 'negligence' and a 629-day delay in the appeal.
TGSRTC attempted to explain the delay as 'administrative'.
The court found repeated lapses by the corporation.
