Reliance Industries to Operationalize New Energy in 4-6 Quarters
Reliance Industries is getting ready to start a new business focused on clean energy.
They plan to be fully up and running in the next year or so.
This involves making solar panels, equipment for producing green hydrogen, and green chemicals.
The company will fund this new business itself by making money and selling products.
They are also building solar panel factories and setting up plants to create energy.
Reliance wants to ensure it has enough affordable energy for its own needs and also provide for India's growing energy demands.
They're even getting offers from investors to help.
Reliance Industries (RIL) plans to fully operationalize its new energy business within the next four to six quarters.
The new energy platform will become self-funded through profitability and monetization.
RIL has started manufacturing HJT solar modules and setting up manufacturing for electrolyzers using alkaline technology.
The company is commissioning and completing several plants, with the rest of the manufacturing in full swing.
RIL aims to install around 50 megawatts of modules and 175-megawatt hour batteries daily at full operational scale.
