IIM-B Placement Panel Resigns Amid Recruitment Clause Row
A group of 20 students at IIM Bangalore who help with job placements for other students quit their jobs.
They said this was because a rule about who can get jobs was changed in a way that might have helped them.
The school is now looking into what happened.
Because of this, the process for helping students find jobs for next year is on hold.
The school says it cares about the students and is following its rules to look into the problem.
20-member placement committee at IIM Bangalore resigned on December 10.
Resignation due to allegations of a recruitment clause being revoked to benefit committee members.
All activities related to the Lateral and Final Placements Process 2026 are suspended.
IIM Bangalore is conducting an internal review of the matter.
The pre-placement process usually begins in December with final interviews in February.
