GHMC Inaugurates Multipurpose Function Hall in Hyderabad
A new big hall was opened in Hyderabad for people to have weddings and parties.
It's called a function hall and was made by the city government.
The hall is very big and can fit a lot of people.
It's also easy to get to from all sides.
The minister who opened it said that people can now get special cards to buy food at lower prices, and they will get these cards quickly.
The hall was built on land that was once taken by people who shouldn't have, but the court gave it back to the city.
A multipurpose function hall was inaugurated by Hyderabad in-charge minister Ponnam Prabhakar in NBT Nagar, Banjara Hills.
The hall, costing ₹10 crore and spread over an acre, is aimed at serving economically weaker sections by offering affordable space for marriages and social functions.
The facility can accommodate 1,500–2,000 people and has ample parking space, accessible by roads on all four sides.
Prabhakar announced that eligible individuals could apply for ration cards and would receive them within four days.
The land for the hall was previously targeted by encroachers but was handed over to the GHMC after a legal battle and court orders.
