Indian Navy Upgrades Satellite Communication with BSNL and Viasat

The Indian Navy is getting a big upgrade to its satellite communication system.

Two companies, BSNL from India and Viasat from the USA, are helping with this upgrade.

They will use special satellites and ground stations to make sure the Navy can communicate better and more securely.

This means that ships, submarines, and aircraft can talk to each other and to their bases without any problems.

The Navy already has a big satellite called CMS-03, which was launched by ISRO in November 2025.

This satellite helps the Navy communicate in real-time, which is very important for their missions.

The upgrade will make everything even better and more reliable.
