SIT Summons CM’s Brother in Phone Tapping Case

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) in Hyderabad has asked Anumula Kondal Reddy, the brother of Telangana's Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, to come and talk to them.

This is because they are looking into a case where phones were illegally tapped, and Kondal Reddy's phone was one of them.

He has been asked to come and give his statement on Thursday.

The SIT is trying to find out who was involved in this illegal phone tapping.

The SIT is also investigating the destruction of evidence by the Special Intelligence Bureau (SIB) during the previous Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) regime.

The investigation is focusing on a special surveillance unit called the 'RR Module' that was allegedly tracking Revanth Reddy and his inner circle.

The SIT has also summoned two former BRS MLAs and is considering summoning other BRS leaders to determine who authorized these operations.
