Rajasthan School Kids Protest for Teachers
In a small village in Rajasthan, India, school kids are upset because their school doesn’t have enough teachers.
A teenage girl says the school only has two teachers for the first grade and none for the second grade.
The kids want new teachers for all grades and have even threatened to block a road if the government doesn’t help.
A local founder, Abhijeet Dipke, shared a video of the protest and praised the children.
A report says that many rural schools in India have a huge shortage of teachers, which makes it hard for children to finish school.
Students in Mengalwa village, Rajasthan, protest for missing 1st‑3rd grade and L1‑L2 teachers.
Teenage girl reports only two 1st‑grade teachers (History, Hindi) and no 2nd‑grade teachers, with the history teacher also acting as principal.
Protest slogans include “Na kisise bheekh maang rahe hain, hum humara haq maang rahe hain” and a threat to block the road if teachers are not appointed by 10 AM.
Founder Abhijeet Dipke shared a video of the protest, captioned “Mera desh badal raha hai” praising the kids.
