17 Years Later: Bombay HC Awards Rs 8 Lakh to Parents of Boy Who Died in Train Fall
A boy died in 2008 when he fell off a crowded train while going to see Lord Ganesha during the Ganesh festival.
After 17 years, the Bombay High Court said his parents should get Rs 8 lakh as compensation.
The court said there was no reason to think the parents were trying to cheat the system and that they should get the money within eight weeks.
