Southern Railway Adjusts Train Services
Southern Railway has announced that some trains in the Palakkad Division will be delayed in December 2025 and January 2026.
This is because they need to make some changes.
Some trains will be delayed for a short time, like 10 or 20 minutes, while others will be delayed for a longer time, like 1 hour or more.
Passengers should check the new timings before they travel to avoid any problems.
The delays are for trains like the Visakhapatnam – Kollam Special, Hubballi – Kollam Special, and others.
The railway has shared a list of all the affected trains and their new timings.
Additionally, the Bandra Terminus–Gorakhpur Express will be partially cancelled between Varanasi and Gorakhpur from December 6 to 18, 2025, due to ongoing work for commissioning of patch doubling at Mau–Pipri Dih–Dullahapur and Mau–Khurahat stations in the North Eastern Railway.
Train No.
19091 will short-terminate at Varanasi instead of Gorakhpur, and Train No.
19092 will originate from Varanasi instead of Gorakhpur.
Southern Railway has announced the regulation of several trains in the Palakkad Division during December 2025 and January 2026.
Delays range from 10 minutes to over an hour for various trains, including the Visakhapatnam – Kollam Special and the Barauni – Ernakulam Jn Weekly Express.
Passengers are advised to check updated train timings and plan their travel in advance to avoid inconvenience.
The West Coast Express services will also experience adjustments, with delays ranging from 10 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes.
