CCL Products Q2 Earnings Surge, Stock Hits Record High
CCL Products, a company that makes coffee, just announced their financial results for the second quarter, and they did really well!
Their profits increased by over a third, and their sales went up by more than half compared to last year.
This good news made their stock price reach an all-time high for two days in a row.
The company's CEO explained that their success is due to selling more coffee, especially a special type called freeze-dried coffee made in their plant in Vietnam.
This type of coffee has better profit margins.
He also mentioned that sales in India are growing.
While a recent tax change (GST rationalization) caused some temporary confusion with older stock, the CEO believes it will eventually lead to people having more money to spend, which is good for coffee sales in the future.
CCL Products sells coffee to many different types of customers.
CCL Products reported a 36.4% rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 100.86 crore for Q2 FY26.
Revenue increased by 52.6% to Rs 1,126.73 crore in Q2 FY26 compared to Q2 FY25.
The company's stock reached a record high of Rs 1033.20 following the announcement of strong Q2 earnings.
CEO Praveen Jaipuriar attributed the strong performance to volume growth, capacity addition, and higher margins from freeze-dried products.
Despite minor supply chain disruptions from GST rationalization, the company expects long-term benefits from increased consumer disposable income.
