Heartfulness and UPBTVP Collaborate for Vraj Restoration
Heartfulness Institute and UPBTVP have teamed up to restore the sacred ponds and forests of Vrindavan.
They will work together to clean up at least ten historical ponds, develop an eco-friendly path for pilgrims, and plant native trees in a modern nursery.
The project also includes community development programs like yoga and meditation.
The goal is to preserve the heritage and ecology of Braj while improving the lives of the people who live there.
This collaboration involves other organizations like ISCKON and the Tata group, and it aims to create a living legacy for future generations.
Heartfulness Institute and UPBTVP signed an MoU for eco-rejuvenation and heritage conservation in Mathura and Vrindavan.
At least ten sacred ponds, including Govind Kund and Gandharv Kund, will be restored through bioremediation and sewage treatment.
A 7km eco-friendly Inner Parikrama Path is being developed for pilgrims.
60 Ha at Govardhan Hill will be afforested with indigenous plant species using a vast irrigation system.
