QCI Announces Quality Reforms for Easier Certification
The Quality Council of India (QCI) has announced new quality reforms to make it easier for businesses, especially small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), to get certified.
They introduced the Q Mark, a QR-coded quality mark to help people check the authenticity of laboratories, hospitals, and MSMEs.
The QCI also launched Quality Setu, a system to quickly address complaints and feedback.
They plan to train one lakh MSMEs and 5,000 laboratory personnel in 2026.
The reforms aim to reduce paperwork, shorten timelines, and make quality assurance more transparent.
Additionally, India is working on a trade deal with the US, hoping to secure it by the end of the year.
These reforms are part of India's efforts to position itself as a global leader in quality and testing.
