YSRCP alleges extortion drove industries out of Andhra Pradesh

The YSRCP is a political party in Andhra Pradesh, a state in India.

It says some leaders of the ruling coalition are scaring business owners.

The party claims these leaders ask companies for money and stop their factories from working when they do not pay.

YSRCP says this is why some big companies have moved out of the state.

It says workers at cement factories like UltraTech Cement and Bharathi Cements are being threatened and their trucks are being stopped.

Bharathi Cements gives jobs to nearly 15,000 people, so YSRCP says those jobs are now in danger.

YSRCP also says the police arrest people who protest, but do not stop the people doing the threatening.

The party says much more money was invested in the state when YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was in charge than now.

The ruling party has not given its side of the story in this article, so we only hear one side.
