SoftBank owns part of Lenskart, the eyewear company.

It sold another large group of Lenskart shares through a stock-market block deal.

The shares were worth about ₹2,888 crore in total.

Many large banks, pension funds and mutual funds bought them.

This was SoftBank’s second major sale after it sold shares worth ₹2,873 crore in June.

Lenskart’s share price has risen a lot since the company was listed.

The company also reported higher profits and revenue.

Lenskart said it would invest in businesses in Singapore, South Korea and China.

It separately reported a cyber incident involving a supplier connected to its Singapore group company.
