Delhi Police Execute Warrants at CPI-M Office; Court Stay

A student activist named Aishe Ghosh was accused of taking part in a protest in 2021.

The court issued several warrants to make her appear, but she kept missing the dates.

On July 28, 2026, police went to the Communist Party of India-Marxist office to arrest her.

The party said the police were harassing her for supporting protests.

The next day, the court stayed the warrants, saying they were not needed yet.

The case is still ongoing, and the police say they were just following the law.
