Deepak Kumar Mishra’s Journey From TVF Spoofs to Vvaan
Deepak Kumar Mishra first learned storytelling through theatre at IIT Bombay.
He then joined The Viral Fever, where he acted in a funny video called Rowdies.
This experience taught him how cameras and film production worked.
He later helped create longer internet shows such as Permanent Roommates and Pitchers.
Mishra and writer Chandan Kumar used memories of village life to develop Panchayat.
The show became popular because it showed ordinary village life in a realistic way.
After Panchayat, Mishra decided to make a feature film.
His new movie, Vvaan: Force of the Forrest, is a fantasy story starring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia.
The film earned about Rs 69.07 crore worldwide in its first week.
