Bangladesh curbs jute exports to India
Bangladesh has stopped sending raw jute to India, which has caused problems for Indian jute mills.
The mills are asking the Indian government to stop sending jute seeds to Bangladesh in return.
This is because Bangladesh uses Indian seeds to make jute products and then sells them back to India at low prices.
The price of raw jute in India has gone up a lot because of this.
India has also stopped importing certain jute products from Bangladesh to protect its own industry.
Bangladesh restricted raw jute exports to India, causing supply disruptions and price increases.
