Awarapan 2 Release Delayed Due to Emraan Hashmi's Injury
The movie Awarapan 2, starring Emraan Hashmi, was supposed to come out in April.
But now, it's been moved to May or June because Emraan got hurt while filming and had to have surgery.
The producer, Mukesh Bhatt, said this delay isn't because of other movies coming out around the same time.
The original Awarapan was a big hit back in 2007, and this is its sequel.
Emraan will also be in a new Netflix show called Taskaree: The Smugglers Web, which comes out in January.
Awarapan 2's release has been postponed to May-June due to Emraan Hashmi's injury and surgery.
The delay is not related to the release of Dhurandhar 2 and Toxic, according to producer Mukesh Bhatt.
Hashmi is recovering from an injury sustained during filming and cannot perform action sequences for 45 days.
The film's final shooting schedule is planned for March in Malaysia.
Hashmi will next appear in the Netflix series Taskaree: The Smugglers Web, premiering on January 14.
