Verna Industrial Estate Land Unavailability for New Projects
Imagine a place where companies can build their factories, called Verna Industrial Estate.
The people in charge of this place, called GIDC, have told another group, IPB, that they don't have any more land available for new special projects.
They had a rule that allowed them to give up to 40% of the land to the IPB.
The IPB had requested land for three companies, but GIDC said no land is available.
Now the GIDC officials are trying to see if they can find more land for those companies.
GIDC informed IPB that no land is available at Verna Industrial Estate for special project category investments.
The GIDC has reached the 40% internal threshold for land allotment.
IPB had recommended three investment projects for land allotment.
Three companies, Acme Print Media, Industrial Engineers, and Navin Pharma Services, applied for land.
Efforts are ongoing to find more land for industrial proposals.
