BRICS WAVES Bazaar Opens In Mumbai, Unites 500+ Global Creators
A big creative festival called the BRICS WAVES Bazaar has opened in Mumbai, India.
BRICS is a group of countries that like to work together.
More than 500 people from these countries came to the festival.
They work in movies, TV, and other creative jobs.
The festival lasts for two days.
Its job is to help these countries make fun projects together.
People will talk about making movies as partners and using new technology.
Businesses can also meet each other to find new friends to work with.
A dentist who is also a movie maker from South Africa, Dr Eubulus Timothy, will share his stories with everyone.
The National Film Development Corporation inaugurated the two-day BRICS WAVES Bazaar in Mumbai on Thursday.
More than 500 delegates from BRICS member and partner countries are participating in the event.
The bazaar aims to strengthen cooperation in the creative economy during India's BRICS Presidency.
Attendees include governments, production houses, broadcasters, OTT platforms, technology companies, startups, investors and cultural institutions.
The event features conferences, panel discussions, networking sessions and business-to-business meetings, with South African filmmaker Dr Eubulus Timothy among the speakers.
