Some party leaders said the election process was being harmed and called the situation “Vote Chori.”
They also demanded that the 2025 voter list be cancelled and affected voters restored.
The Election Commission says decisions about the voter-list revision were approved by all three commissioners.
The protests were held in places including Hyderabad, Patna, Srinagar and Lucknow.
