Telangana Launches PGI Orientation to Boost Education Rankings
Telangana is having a two-day training program to teach school officials how to use a special tool called the Performance Grading Index (PGI).
This tool helps schools see how well they are doing, find areas to improve, and make plans to get better.
The state has moved up from 28th to 18th place in the country using this tool.
Two districts, Jangaon and Mancherial, are doing really well.
The program was started by the state's education secretary, Dr. Yogita Rana.
She and other officials talked about how important it is to have good data and to learn from the best schools.
