Haiwaan Review: A Bloated Thriller Buried Beneath Needless Subplots
Haiwaan is a thriller about a man named Shyam who becomes a murder suspect.
Earlier, Shyam helps Naina when a violent man bothers her.
Later, that same man becomes a police officer.
Naina is pressured to tell a lie to protect her brother.
The story has many extra characters and side plots.
Near the end, Shyam fights several police officers using wrestling skills.
The review says these scenes do not make the film memorable.
It also says the movie feels far too long.
Shyam initially helps Naina when a violent man harasses her at a building entrance.
The same man later appears as a police officer investigating Shyam as a murder suspect.
Naina is pressured to give false testimony to protect her petty-thief brother.
The story ends with Shyam using wrestling skills to overpower several police officers.
