Bhelaghars honor Zubeen Garg in Nagaon Bhogali Bihu
During Bhogali Bihu in Nagaon, Assam, people built special bhelaghars (temporary shelters) to honor the late singer Zubeen Garg.
One bhelaghar looks like a yacht with a guitar and hat, made from bamboo and other natural materials.
It's 80 feet long and 40 feet high.
Another bhelaghar in a nearby village has Zubeen Garg's face on it.
These structures are not being burned as usual but will be carefully taken apart to show respect.
The bhelaghars are a way for people to remember and celebrate Zubeen Garg's love for music and nature.
Local artistes and youths in Nagaon district built bhelaghars as tributes to Zubeen Garg during Bhogali Bihu.
A yacht-shaped bhelaghar with a guitar and hat was constructed at Amonishali near Raha, made from bamboo, thatch, straw, and dried betel nut leaves.
