Jabra Executive Says Voice Will Shape AI at Work

Jabra Executive Says Voice Will Shape AI at Work

Jabra executive Calum MacDougall says talking to an AI assistant can be faster than typing.

He says people may also give an AI more information when they speak naturally.

Jabra makes headsets and other equipment for workplaces.

MacDougall said the company’s Evolve3 headset can help AI hear a speaker clearly, even with background noise.

He claimed it worked more accurately with Microsoft Copilot than some consumer devices.

Jabra uses AI in its products and its own work, but does not plan to make its own AI models.

The company wants its devices to work in offices and other places people work.

MacDougall said Indian businesses are showing growing interest in AI-ready workplaces.

He expects India to be among the early markets for voice AI at work.
