Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' Hits Top 10, Securing Six-Decade Chart Record
Michael Jackson, known as the 'King of Pop,' has made an amazing comeback on the music charts.
His famous song 'Thriller' is now one of the top 10 songs in America again!
This is super special because it means he's the first singer ever to have songs in the top 10 for six different time periods, starting way back in the 1970s and now in the 2020s.
His career has been so long and successful!
This exciting news comes out just as a new movie about his life is getting ready to be released.
The movie, called 'Michael,' stars his own nephew, Jaafar Jackson, and will show his journey to becoming a music legend.
The movie is set to come out in theaters in April 2026.
Michael Jackson's song 'Thriller' has re-entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 10.
This achievement makes Jackson the first artist to have Top 10 hits in six different decades (1970s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s).
Jackson's first solo Top 10 hit was 'Got to Be There' in November 1971.
The song's resurgence follows the 2025 Halloween season and coincides with the trailer release for the upcoming biopic 'Michael'.
The Michael Jackson biopic 'Michael', starring his nephew Jaafar Jackson, is scheduled for release on April 24, 2026.
