Women Groups Prepare Natural Pest Control
In a village in Visakhapatnam, 52 women from different groups made a special natural solution called Jilledu extract.
This solution is made from crown flower leaves and helps plants grow healthy by giving them important nutrients and protecting them from pests.
The women learned how to make and use this solution through training programs.
A special person named Shyamala explained how this natural solution is good for farming and how it can help plants like rice, cotton, and bananas grow better without using harmful chemicals.
This is part of a bigger program to encourage natural farming.
52 women from five self-help groups prepared 400 litres of Jilledu extract under the National Mission on Organic Farming.
The Jilledu solution is used for pest control and to provide essential nutrients to crops like rice, cotton, and banana.
Training programs are being conducted to teach farmers about the preparation and use of the Jilledu solution.
The solution is gaining popularity, especially in areas practicing natural farming.
Shyamala, Additional District Project Manager, explained the benefits of natural farming and the uses of the Jilledu solution.
