IMD Forecasts Heavy Rain in Southern India and Northeast
The India Meteorological Department says some parts of India may get heavy rain.
Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal are among the places under the forecast.
Parts of the Northeast may also get rain, with heavy showers possible in Arunachal Pradesh.

Arunachal Pradesh and Assam may see rain; isolated heavy rainfall was forecast in Arunachal Pradesh on Friday.
