Cashfree Announces ESOP Buyback for 400+ Employees
Cashfree Payments, a company that helps businesses with payments, has started a special program to buy back employee stock options.
This means over 400 employees, including those who have left the company, can sell their shares back to the company.
The CEO said this is a way to thank employees for their hard work and share the company's success.
Cashfree is also growing fast, moving into a new big office and handling a lot of money for big companies like Swiggy and Nykaa.
They want to grow even more in the next few years.
Cashfree Payments launched an ESOP buyback plan for over 400 employees, including 175 former employees.
The company moved into a new 80,000-sq-ft headquarters in Bengaluru.
Cashfree raised $53 million in funding led by KRAFTON, with participation from Apis Growth Fund II.
The company experienced a 250% GMV growth over the last year, with cross-border payments accounting for 10% of revenue.
Cashfree powers $80 billion in annual payment volumes and serves over one million businesses, including Zepto, RedBus, Swiggy, Nykaa, and Big Basket.
