Film Producer Accuses Fraudsters of Seizing Control via Fake Digital Signature
A film producer named Amit Gaur bought a company called Aaditibhumi Ventures Pvt.
Ltd.
in 2021.
He trusted his accountant to handle the money while he was traveling.
Later, he found out that someone had used a fake digital signature to pretend to be him and take control of his company.
They changed the company's address, appointed fake directors, and even opened a bank account in his name without his permission.
Amit got a scary message telling him to stop complaining or else.
The police have now filed a case against the people involved.
Film producer Amit Gaur alleged that fraudsters took control of his company, Aaditibhumi Ventures Pvt. Ltd., using forged digital signatures and fake director appointments.
Gaur discovered irregularities in the company's bank accounts after receiving an Income Tax Department notice and found an unknown bank account opened in his name.
Fraudsters changed the company's registered address and appointed themselves as directors using a forged Digital Signature Certificate created through a fake video KYC.
Gaur received a threatening message from a number linked to one of the accused, warning him to withdraw his complaint.
An FIR has been registered against Pravin Kumar Pathak, Sawant Ramachal Yadav, Rajiv Ranjan, CA Aditya Kumar Jha, CA Basant Kumar Pradhan, and others involved in the conspiracy.
